Arthur knew there was going to be major party action today in Shaker Heights...
A Corgi convention...
I felt like I was in an illustration from a Tasha Tudor children's book like Corgiville...but it was a PARTY!!!!!
Dr. David Newmarker, a dentist and Arthur's breeder...invited all of the pups, i.e. Arthur and his siblings, to celebrate their first birthday together...
With an amazing spread...
Each dog had his/her own goodie bag attached...
to a mylar balloon...
and each doggy got a blanket, too!
And a cake with all their names on it...
but none of the pups knew how to blow out the candles. But the pups were the stars of the show...
Dana, Isa, Oliver, Kevin, Dorothy, Muffin, and Arthur...
Isa was the only tri-color of the litter...
And Oliver, in my opinion, looks the most like Arthur...
And then they were one...and Arthur and all had a GREAT time! And so did I!
What a fine looking group. The first portrait of Arthur is great.
ReplyDeleteThis just put a smile on my face, I loved each one of these images. The group pictures is just priceless, so grand indeed. Thanks for sharing Denise.
ReplyDeleteHow fun was that?! So much cuteness in those group pictures, glad I looked... now I can start my day happy happy happy!
ReplyDeleteDenise, the photos are wonderful!!! And David put on quite a nice spread with presents for all the puppies! Actually kind of glad I did not bring Dozer who may have plowed through all the siblings!
ReplyDeleteI need to see him...and we need to connect! David thinks that Arthur definitely was the pick of the litter. Unfortunately he's been neutered but between his size and coat, he is a looker. He came from excellent stock, including Chip (may he rest in peace).
DeleteBeautiful birthday portrait of Arthur! And a very happy birthday to him!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful breeder ! And the first pick of Arthur ....WOW, just WOW
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea Denise they are all so handsome (but Arthur is the best )
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I am glad you brought your camera. Sometimes I am hesitant to bring my camera to something social and fun like this. Like I gotta decide whether to enjoy myself and visit or take pictures. Sheesh! You managed to do both...and it was a dog party to boot!! I will remember this.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the top pic of Arthur is definitely frame-able.
xoxo
This looks like so much fun! I was at the dog park this week and met a relative of my own dogs!
ReplyDeleteI don't own a dog, but I can appreciate a party, and camaraderie! I am totally impressed by the breeder's kindness and creativity. Good for you! Say hello to Arthur. They grow so fast!
ReplyDeleteMy gosh what a fun party that must have been. The dogs are all adorable.
