Dream-like in a Bog

Last Sunday, Edster and I went to Springfield Bog, along with my daughter and Bruno...Yes, it was hot!  But God's bountiful mercies were everywhere...this is my Father's world!

In my Beyond Layers e-course, Kim gave us a new recipe giving a dream-like effect using processing and two wonderful textures.  I thought I would apply this to three of my photos from my bog trip...along with some great quotes!

Take a look-see...

God is so good!

With gratitude,

  1. Oh so beautiful. The weather may have been hot, but you images are cool.

  2. Beautiful shots and processing, you've done a great job of getting the dreamy effect.
The quote in the last shot speaks to me :)
I haven't tried any prompts in the Beyond class for weeks! I must change that.

  3. Very beautiful, Denise! The quotes and your images works perfectly together, they speak to me as if I were there. Really really beautiful!
    Have a wonderful day!

  4. Beautiful Denise, subtle and heartfelt thanks for sharing....

  5. What lovely photos...your processing makes them even more beautiful. Beautiful quotes, too - I love the last one! :)

  6. They are all beautiful -- and the quotes are all lovely too - but I really am moved by that last one. For one thing, I LOVE Queen Anne's lace, but the quote itself is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing these!

  7. You certainly did capture dreaminess. I can't decide which one is my favorite. Guess it would have to be between 1 and 3. The flowers on the first are very intriguing. What are they? I love Queen Annes Lace and the quote is so apropos. I need to be gentle with myself these days.

Every comment is read personally by me and is deeply appreciated!
