A Quickie Post - Textured Tuesday

I have been totally enjoying Becky Higgins' course, Project Real Life...

This week we are to be pondering and photographing our gratitude (which we should be practicing daily)...

Yesterday, I sat on the bed and was so grateful for the birds at my feeders...


I love the softness that comes from having the window screens still in and combining that effect with Kim Klassen's texture "love."


And, of course, Mrs. Cardinal waits her turn...

How grateful I am for the gifts of nature just outside my window.

    You know I was born in Va. where the Cardinal is the state bird but i don't ever remember seeing the female. I remember getting so excited seeing the male because of the red but honestly the female is very gorgeous isn't she? Love this Denise.

    Cardinals are such wonderful birds to watch and capture, aren't they? These are fantastic shots. I really like how you muted the colors and used a *natural* texture along with Kim's!

    Your edit on these photographs is just awesome....Cardinals are a treat to see anytime but especially in the winter....I love the sound of the class you are taking...It's always good to ponder on gratitude....
